Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
You will be picked up from Entebbe Airport by our tour guide and you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and spend a night.
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Early morning breakfast, after you will meet your driver guide. He will transfer you to Kibale National Park via the Mubende-Fort Portal route. Kibale National Park offers refuge to over 13 primate species with over 1500 chimpanzees; black and white colobus monkeys, red colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabeys, red tailed monkeys, baboons, vervet monkeys and over 350 bird species. The Journey takes about 4-5 hours, check-in at the lodge, have lunch at the lodge.
After lunch, you will rest at the lodge, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning breakfast, you will gather at Kanyanchu visitor center to be briefed on the chimpanzee tracking guidelines. The actual chimpanzee trek starts at 8:00am and it will last for 2-4 hours and once you find chimpanzees, you spend one hour with them. However, you will also come across other primates, birds and unique flora and many others. Return to the lodge to check out or at Kanyanchu Visitor Center to relax and have lunch before you set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park takes 2-3 hours enroute, enjoying the view of varied wildlife. Check – in at the lodge, relax as you spend your day at the lodge, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Morning game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early in the morning, embark on a morning game drive via Kasenyi track. The game drive along Kasenyi trail gets you amazing sight at varied wildlife species including buffaloes, elephants, leopards, birds, antelopes, lions and others. The drive takes 2-3 hours and after, drive back to the lodge for light breakfast, relax at the lodge. After lunch you will embark on a launch trip along Kazinga Channel which links Lake Edward and Lake George. A boat trip along Kazinga Channel comes with astonishing sights at hippos, crocodiles, water birds and others. After the boat cruise, head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Travel to Lake Mburo National Park
Early morning breakfast, check-out of the lodge, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park in Mbarara, you will have a stopover for lunch and then connect to Lake Mburo National Park. Check-in at the lodge. In the evening, you will embark on an evening game drive where you will have a chance to see wildlife species such as giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, buffaloes and many antelopes, birds. After the evening drive, head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Morning game drive and nature walk
Early morning game drive, the drive takes 2-3 hours, have light breakfast, in the afternoon, embark on a nature walk which comes with astonishing sights at impalas, elands, zebras, buffaloes and many birds. After, return to the lodge, have lunch, after lunch head out for a boat trip on Lake Mburo which gets you amazing sights at hippos, crocodiles, water birds among others. After returning to your lodge for dinner and bed.
Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe
Early morning breakfast, Check-out the lodge, transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe. Along the way, make a stopover at Equator for photography and proceed to Kampala arriving in the afternoon, have lunch and be transferred to the airport for your departure.
